Common Good Farm is a mom & pop family farm...small, sustainable, certified organic & Biodynamic...growing good food since Autumn of 1996 for southeast Nebraska. We are just 15 miles northwest of Lincoln, near Raymond. We’re committed to sustaining a family farm in Lancaster County to provide delicious, healthful food for our community & neighbors...to tend the soil, grow the food & love the land.
We grow over 45 different kinds of produce -- 4 acres of veggies & herbs. We also have veggie & herb plants in the springtime at our organic plant sale, raise pastured pork, grass-fed beef & a pasture-based laying flock for gorgeous organic eggs.
The heartbeat of our farm is our CSA, offering seasonal CSA shares with an option for a 12-week and 15-week Summer CSA & a separate Fall Harvest CSA...do both or choose the one that works best for your family! We're at Old Cheney Farmer’s Market in Lincoln; find us there for the first half of the season & usually again for October.
Eggs are available year-round at the farm & at Open Harvest in Lincoln. Open Harvest also carries our produce seasonally. Meat is butchered annually in late fall/early winter. We also sell wholesale to restaurants & grocers in Lincoln...hopefully at your favorite places!

Directions to the farm below! $1.90/lb u-pick price; bring your own containers to take your tomatoes home in. We also have pre-picked tomatoes available for the near term...slightly higher prices. Roma/paste types, yellow, orange & red slicers available most days.
2014 Fall CSA Shares: We still have some remaining fall CSA spots...a $50 deposit holds your share. Use the same pledge form as for our summer CSA & supporting memberships. Info here on our fall CSA shares.
Open Harvest Annual Dig Deeper Tour: Coming up soon on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 12 pm - 4 pm. We're on the tour schedule as well as other farms surrounding Lincoln. Visit Open Harvest's event information for a tour booklet!
2014 Summer CSA Shares: SUMMER CSA IS FULL! Other options are supporting memberships to get the newsletter, as well as great plant & produce discounts! We're also taking deposits for our fall shares now & it's a good idea to contact us to get on the information list for 2015. We'll begin taking shares for 2015 in November 2014. 2014 Supporting Memberships: For a suggested donation of $30 or more, this is a great way to participate in farm events, receive great recipes & the farm newsletter in season, receive a 10% discount on the plants and veggies from the farm throughout the year! Grass-Fed Beef & Pastured Pork: We will have extremely limited supply of our beef for our fall butchering round. This is still the effect of the 2012 drought. Pork will not be available again until Spring 2015. Read more info about our meat & how we raise our animals. You can also contact us to receive our 2014 beef order form as soon as it is finalized & you will then get additional information on pork for 2015 & beef for fall 2015.

Directions to the Farm from Lincoln: go north on 10th st., following it as it becomes Hwy 34 west. Continue past Kawasaki, turning north/right onto Hwy 79. Continue to Raymond Rd. (flashing yellow light) & turn east/right. Go 1 mile to NW 40th St. Turn left/north & go 1 1/2 miles. Farm is west side of the road. If you get to Davey Road you went to far. Alternate route: north on N. 14th st. out of Lincoln, continuing to flashing yellow/Raymond Rd. Turn left/west & continue until NW 40th st. Turn north/right on NW 40th st. & continue 1 1/2 miles.
